My desire to become a Naprapath
began when I was 19 as a result of a sports injury that required
medical attention. As a referral from my father, I sought treatment
from a Naprapath. Through the following series of treatments
I underwent, I found myself inspired by the effectiveness of
Naprapathic care.
After completing my pre-requisite coursework,
I enrolled at the Chicago National College of Naprapathy where
I earned the Certificate of Academic Completion as well completion
of parts One and Two of the National Naprapathic Board of Examinations.
This enabled me to continue my education as an Intern at the
clinical level where I spent one year evaluating and treating
patients.
Upon completion of my clinical
experience at the Chicago National College of Naprapathy, I
was able to apply for the Illinois State Licensing Exam. Successfully
passing the licensing exam enabled me to begin my practice as
a licensed Naprapath in McHenry. I am currently an active member
of the American Naprapathic Association which is dedicated to
increasing legislation to further expand the use and recognition
of Naprapaths in the country.
